J. Martell Bodell began residential property appraising in 1972 after earning his BS in Marketing from the University Of Utah. beginning in August of 1978 Mr. Bodell and David J. Van Drimmelen formed Bodell - Van Drimmelen & Associates.

Mr. Bodell has served as past Salt Lake Chapter President Of The Society of Real Estate Appraisers. He is a member of the Employee Relocation Council and currently holds an SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute and is licensed by the National Association Of Realtors.

Each staff member at Bodell - Van Drimmelen is educated by the Society Of real estate Appraisers or the American Institute Of Real estate Appraisers. In addition to the training, we hold weekly internal meetings to ensure that each of our appraisers are to to date on current developments in real estate appraising.

Appraisers in the residential Division specialize in specific geographical areas, covering Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Tooele, Summit and Wasatch counties. In addition, we are familiar with properties in the neighborhood and the areas uniqueness.

With a full time staff of appraisers, we feel we can provide any of your appraising needs, weather it be from a standard URAR, to being an expert witness in court cases, to teaching FHA classes in YOUR office.
